Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in basic subjects (e.g., Math, Dutch, English) to students in their homes.
- Assess students' academic needs and tailor teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to address specific learning gaps and reinforce classroom material.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress.
- Help students develop effective study habits, organizational skills, and test-taking strategies.
- Stay updated on curriculum requirements for basic subjects in the Dutch education system.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (verbal and written).
- Strong knowledge of basic subjects (Mathematics, Dutch Language, English, general primary curriculum).
- Proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes across various locations within the Netherlands.
