Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy goods vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport cargo across designated routes in the USA.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, ensuring all components are in safe working order and reporting any defects.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and company regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS), weight limits, and hazardous materials protocols.
- Secure cargo properly using appropriate tie-downs and covers to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, and potential issues.
- Load and unload goods, either manually or using mechanical equipment, as required and in accordance with safety procedures.
- Represent the company professionally, ensuring excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Required Skills
