Zain Group, a leading telecommunications provider across the Middle East and Africa, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Government Relations to join our esteemed team in Kuwait. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and advancing Zain’s interests with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and key public stakeholders in Kuwait and potentially across our operational footprint. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive government relations strategies to advance Zain Group's business objectives and policy positions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, regulatory bodies, legislative committees, and industry associations in Kuwait.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and political developments, assessing their potential impact on Zain's operations and strategic plans.
- Advocate effectively for Zain Group's interests on critical policy issues, ensuring our perspectives are heard and considered.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leadership on government affairs matters and potential policy risks/opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality briefings, policy papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent Zain Group in public forums, conferences, and industry committees, enhancing our corporate reputation and influence.
- Ensure Zain Group's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in government engagement.
- Lead crisis management efforts related to government or regulatory issues, developing appropriate communication strategies.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory affairs within Kuwait.
