Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled handymen and tradespeople with various property maintenance tasks across residential and commercial sites.
- Carry out basic repairs and installations under supervision, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general odd jobs.
- Help with the preparation of work sites, including clearing areas, setting up equipment, and ensuring all safety measures are in place.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment efficiently and safely to and from job sites within Greenwich and surrounding areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools, equipment, and work vehicles on a daily basis.
- Perform general labouring duties as required to support the team, ensuring projects run smoothly.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour while interacting with clients on-site.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of general DIY and property maintenance principles.
- Eagerness to learn and develop practical trade skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and carrying.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong, proactive work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team.
- Basic communication skills in English to interact with colleagues and clients.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar assistant, labouring, or maintenance support role (even informal).
- Valid UK Driving Licence (clean) with access to own transport or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction or maintenance environment.
- Relevant vocational training or certifications (e.g., in carpentry, plumbing, electrical) is a plus.
- CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is highly desirable.
