Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, highlights, perms, and treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and provide expert advice on hair care and styling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation and ensure all tools are properly sanitized.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Actively promote and sell salon retail products suitable for clients' hair types and styling needs.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and assist with salon operations as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive salon environment.
- Adhere to all salon policies, safety standards, and health regulations.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Hair Stylist.
- Proficiency in various cutting and styling techniques for all hair types.
- Expert knowledge of colour theory and application methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent client consultation and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced salon environment.
- Valid qualification/certification in hairdressing.
