Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly, offer refreshments, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Assist senior hairdressers with a variety of tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, applying treatments, and preparing clients for styling.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the salon, including sweeping hair, cleaning workstations, sanitizing tools, and ensuring towels are clean and stocked.
- Manage appointment bookings and client records accurately, either manually or using digital systems.
- Help with inventory management, including stocking shelves, monitoring product levels, and informing management of supply needs.
- Prepare styling tools and equipment for stylists, ensuring they are clean, sterilized, and ready for use.
- Provide basic hair care advice to clients under the guidance of senior stylists.
- Assist with salon marketing efforts, such as arranging product displays or helping with social media content.
- Learn and stay updated on new hair techniques, products, and trends within the industry.
- Support front desk operations, answering phones, and processing payments as needed.
