As a Gypsum Board Installer, you will be responsible for the precise measurement, cutting, fitting, and installation of gypsum boards for walls, ceilings, and other structural elements. This involves interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate placement and alignment. You will use a variety of hand and power tools, including utility knives, T-squares, screw guns, and lifts, always prioritizing safety and efficiency. The role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of building codes and specifications, and the ability to work efficiently and safely, both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, cut, and fit gypsum boards according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Install gypsum boards on walls, ceilings, and other structural elements using appropriate fasteners and tools.
- Prepare surfaces for installation, including cleaning and leveling.
- Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish.
- Perform minor repairs, patches, and modifications to existing gypsum board installations.
- Ensure all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Manage and organize materials on-site, minimizing waste.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and project supervisors.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Gypsum Board Installer or similar role.
