Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and replenish stock of fresh fruit, vegetables, and other produce.
- Create attractive and appealing displays to showcase products and drive sales.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and offer friendly, efficient service.
- Operate the till and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shop, including displays, storage areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor product quality and rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimise waste.
- Assist with basic preparation tasks such as weighing, bagging, and labelling produce.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving stock
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock counts
