Job Description
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our creative team in Amsterdam. In this exciting dual role, you will be instrumental in developing compelling visual content across various platforms, from digital campaigns and social media assets to corporate presentations and internal communications. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality graphics and engaging video content that aligns with our brand guidelines and captivates our diverse audience. Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce a wide range of graphic materials, including digital advertisements, social media graphics, website visuals, infographics, presentations, and print collateral.
- Edit and produce engaging video content for various platforms, including short-form social videos, promotional spots, interviews, and internal communication videos.
- Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects, from initial idea to final execution.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to DPG Media's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency and high quality across all assets.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, product, and sales, to understand project requirements and deliver on objectives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design software, and video editing techniques to continuously enhance skills and bring fresh ideas.
- Provide creative input and design recommendations to improve the overall visual appeal and effectiveness of our communications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of graphic design and video editing work.
- Demonstrable experience with motion graphics and animation techniques.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Solid knowledge of video production workflows, including shooting, editing, sound design, and color grading.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Film Production, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Dutch is a significant plus, given our primary market.
- Experience working within a media, publishing, or advertising agency environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Experience with 3D animation software is a bonus.
