Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality visual content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, print advertisements, brochures, flyers, and branding elements.
- Collaborate closely with clients and our marketing team to understand project requirements, marketing objectives, and target audiences for small businesses.
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across all design projects, adhering to client brand guidelines and ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
- Present design concepts to clients and internal teams, effectively articulating design choices and incorporating feedback constructively.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices in graphic design and small business marketing.
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for internal marketing and promotional efforts for Marketing at the Core.
- Prepare files for print production and digital deployment, ensuring optimal quality and technical specifications are met.
- Conduct basic market research to understand local visual preferences and design trends relevant to Soweto and surrounding areas.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and successful marketing collateral.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Ability to translate marketing objectives into creative and impactful visual solutions.
