Are you a highly organized and empathetic professional with a deep understanding of international HR and mobility? Printify is seeking a dedicated Global Mobility Specialist to join our dynamic People Operations team in Riga. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the seamless relocation and integration of our international talent, ensuring a positive and compliant experience for employees moving across borders. As our global footprint expands, so does the need for robust and efficient global mobility solutions.
You will manage the end-to-end global mobility lifecycle, from initial consultation and policy application to immigration, relocation logistics, and ongoing support for assignees and transferees. This role demands a proactive approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong ability to navigate complex legal and cultural landscapes. You will be a key point of contact for employees, managers, and external vendors, providing expert guidance on all aspects of international assignments, permanent transfers, and remote work arrangements in different jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of international assignments and permanent transfers, including initiation, policy application, pre-departure, on-assignment support, and repatriation/localization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR business partners regarding global mobility policies, processes, and immigration matters.
- Coordinate with external vendors (immigration attorneys, relocation companies, tax advisors, etc.) to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
- Prepare and process immigration documentation (visas, work permits) and ensure compliance with local regulations in various jurisdictions.
- Support employees with relocation logistics, including housing, temporary accommodation, schooling, and cultural integration.
- Administer global mobility policies, including compensation, benefits, and tax equalization, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to global mobility cases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of global mobility policies, processes, and tools, identifying opportunities for efficiency and enhanced employee experience.
- Stay up-to-date with international immigration laws, tax regulations, and global mobility best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Global Mobility, International HR, or Immigration.
- Strong understanding of international immigration laws, regulations, and processes.
- Experience with global relocation logistics and vendor management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, Law, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global technology or e-commerce company.
- Knowledge of specific regional immigration laws (e.g., EU, US, APAC).
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Latvian, Russian) is a plus.
- Certification in Global Mobility (e.g., GMS, CRP) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and global mobility software.
