Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Mobility Specialist to join our growing team in Agege, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee relocation, from initial planning and visa processing to final settlement. This role demands a deep understanding of international relocation procedures, immigration laws, and cultural nuances. You will be a key player in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for our employees as they navigate international assignments, offering support and guidance throughout the entire process. You’ll collaborate extensively with HR, finance, and other departments, ensuring alignment and compliance across various global locations. Your expertise in tax equalization and benefits planning will be vital in creating comprehensive relocation packages that attract and retain top talent. This role is crucial to TGI’s global expansion strategy. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for supporting employee mobility. The candidate must be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently and working independently while remaining a collaborative team player. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering world-class relocation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global mobility policies and procedures.
- Manage the entire relocation process for employees, including visa applications, relocation logistics, and cultural orientation.
- Provide guidance and support to employees throughout the relocation process.
- Negotiate with relocation service providers and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of all relocation-related expenses.
- Stay informed of changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure compliance and alignment.
- Develop and deliver relocation training programs for employees and managers.
- Manage the relocation budget and track expenses.
- Prepare reports on global mobility activities.
