Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations, order and accurately interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays, ECGs), and facilitate timely referrals to specialists as deemed necessary.
- Develop and diligently implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring clear patient understanding and promoting adherence to medical advice.
- Offer robust preventive care services, including administration of vaccinations, execution of health screenings, and provision of vital lifestyle counseling.
- Maintain meticulous and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) in strict compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively and seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health staff, specialists, and administrative teams, to ensure continuous and high-quality patient care.
- Actively participate in continuous professional development and training initiatives to stay abreast of the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and healthcare technologies.
- Adhere strictly to all clinical governance frameworks, ethical guidelines, and patient safety protocols established by Aster DM Healthcare and regulatory bodies.
- Provide competent emergency care as required, strictly within the defined scope of general practice.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies, fostering self-care and informed decision-making.
Required Skills
- Valid medical license to practice as a General Practitioner in the UAE (DHA/MOH/HAAD).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a General Practitioner in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions across various age groups.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in English; strong command of Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional ethical conduct, professionalism, and a deeply patient-centered approach to care.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Competence in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous medical education and ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a private clinic or hospital setting within the GCC region.
- Additional certifications or diplomas in specialized areas (e.g., Family Medicine, Diabetology, Cardiology).

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with widely used healthcare information systems or specific EMR platforms prevalent in the UAE.
