Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespersons (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment across the site.
- Preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, clearing land, and setting up temporary structures or safety barriers.
- Operating basic hand and power tools under close supervision, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, mixing concrete or mortar, and performing other physical site preparation duties.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including waste disposal and material storage.
- Following all site safety procedures and regulations meticulously, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Performing other general labourer duties as assigned by site supervisors or foremen.
- Supporting the efficient flow of work on the construction site to meet project deadlines.
- Adhering to project timelines and contributing to overall quality standards of work.
