Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up and removing temporary structures, and ensuring materials are organized.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Perform general maintenance and cleanup of job sites, including sweeping, raking, and trash removal.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth.
- Assist with the pouring and finishing of concrete.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support the team in achieving project deadlines and quality standards.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) repeatedly.
