Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Construction Worker to join our remote team, supporting our diverse construction projects primarily located in the Eastern Cape. This unique remote role is designed for an individual who possesses a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols, but can effectively apply this knowledge in a virtual capacity. As a Remote General Construction Worker, you will be instrumental in coordinating project logistics, tracking progress through digital tools, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance from a central, non-site-based location. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in an organized, technology-driven environment, capable of effective communication with on-site teams, suppliers, and project managers. You will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our projects, leveraging various digital platforms to monitor timelines, manage resources, and address potential issues before they impact on-site progress. While the role is remote, a foundational understanding of practical construction work is essential to effectively support and anticipate the needs of our on-site crews. Your ability to interpret blueprints, understand construction schedules, and contribute to safety planning remotely will be highly valued. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your construction expertise in a modern, flexible work setting, contributing to significant infrastructure development without the daily commute to a physical site.

- Facilitate communication between remote project managers, on-site supervisors, and various stakeholders.
- Contribute to remote safety planning and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations through documentation and virtual checks.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of project activities, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
- Assist with quality control reviews by analyzing submitted documentation and visual evidence.
- Support administrative tasks related to project closeouts and final reporting.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating high self-motivation and discipline.
