We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Frontend Developer with strong React experience to join our dynamic engineering team in Tokyo. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highly responsive, performant, and scalable web applications using React.js and its ecosystem.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement engaging and accessible user interfaces that adhere to design specifications.
- Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and elegant solutions.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative development environment.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js and its core principles (Hooks, Context API, etc.).
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Next.js or other React frameworks.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
