Boomtown Strategic Brand Agency is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Freelance Video Editor to join our dynamic team on a project-by-project basis. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content for various platforms (social media, web, broadcast, presentations) that aligns with project briefs and client objectives.

- Select and mix appropriate audio, including music, voiceovers, and sound effects, ensuring optimal clarity and impact.
- Ensure all video content adheres strictly to client brand guidelines, creative direction, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate remotely and effectively with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and project managers to refine edits and integrate feedback seamlessly.
- Manage and organize media assets efficiently, maintaining a structured workflow for multiple concurrent projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in video production, editing, and digital storytelling.
- Deliver final video files in various formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios as required for different distribution channels.
- Manage timelines and project expectations, communicating any potential delays proactively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects across different industries.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and output for various platforms.
- Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration and integrating feedback.
- Acute attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
