Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly talented and experienced Freelance Photographer specializing in both event and commercial photography to join our network of elite creative professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute photography sessions for various events (corporate, private, social) and commercial projects (products, branding, portraits) as per client briefs.
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting setups, and other necessary gear to achieve desired photographic outcomes.
- Provide expert direction to subjects and models, ensuring optimal poses, expressions, and composition.
- Perform comprehensive post-production editing, including colour correction, retouching, cropping, and general enhancements using industry-standard software.
- Manage and organize digital assets efficiently, ensuring proper backup and timely delivery of final images.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final image delivery.
- Adhere strictly to project deadlines and client specifications, ensuring satisfaction and professional service.
- Proactively identify and recommend creative solutions or approaches to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in excellent working condition for every assignment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio in event and commercial photography.
- Expertise in digital photography techniques, including composition, lighting (natural and artificial), and camera operation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant photo editing software.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and branding principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and subjects.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Ownership of professional photography equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless camera, lenses, external flash/lighting, and editing workstation).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related creative field.
- Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with drone photography/videography (with relevant licenses, if applicable).

- Membership in professional photography associations.
