Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including timelines, vendor recommendations, and detailed cost estimates.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors (caterers, venues, decorators, photographers, entertainment, etc.).
- Oversee all logistical aspects, including venue setup, decor, catering, audiovisual requirements, and guest management.
- Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
- Coordinate on-site event execution, managing staff, vendors, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Maintain strict adherence to budget constraints, providing regular financial updates to clients.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and preparing summary reports.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the wedding and corporate event market.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and local regulations during events.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in event planning, specifically with wedding and corporate events.
- Demonstrable portfolio of successfully executed events.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relation skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines.
