Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Safety Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Jabi, Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our food products throughout the entire production process, from raw material sourcing to finished product distribution. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality control procedures. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The role will involve close collaboration with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement food safety and quality control programs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities and processes.
- Monitor and evaluate food safety and quality data.
- Investigate and resolve food safety and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards.
- Train and educate employees on food safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent implementation of food safety and quality standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new food safety and quality initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest food safety regulations and best practices.
