Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport various goods, packages, and documents to designated locations within Kigali City.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage delivery schedules and routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, recipients, and dispatch team.
- Verify contents of shipments against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
- Regularly inspect and maintain your delivery vehicle/motorcycle for optimal performance and safety.
- Report any delivery issues, delays, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
- Process cash on delivery (COD) payments accurately where required.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Category A or B, depending on vehicle type)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier (e.g., car, motorcycle, or bicycle courier)
- Thorough knowledge of Kigali City's roads and geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a GPS device and/or use mapping applications
- High level of responsibility and reliability
