Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fish Farmer to join our team in Asaba, Delta State. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our fish farm, ensuring optimal fish health, growth, and production. This role requires a hands-on approach, a deep understanding of aquaculture techniques, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and environmental responsibility. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of our fish farming operations, working closely with the farm manager and other team members. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in all aspects of fish farming, from stocking and feeding to harvesting and maintaining optimal water quality. They will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the fish farm, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring fish health.
- Maintain optimal water quality parameters, including temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen levels.
- Implement and monitor fish health programs to prevent and treat diseases.
- Conduct regular water testing and analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of fish stocks, feed usage, and production yields.
- Oversee the harvesting and processing of fish.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the farm manager and other team members to improve farm efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new farming techniques and strategies.

- Proven experience in fish farming (at least 3 years)
