Job Description

Are you a sharp, analytical mind with a passion for navigating complex financial landscapes and advising leading institutions? PwC Middle East is seeking a talented Financial Risk Consultant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing Financial Services Advisory team in Dubai. In an era of unprecedented market volatility, evolving regulatory frameworks, and increasing technological disruption, our clients depend on our expertise to manage risk effectively and strategically. As a Financial Risk Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our diverse portfolio of clients – including banks, asset managers, and insurance companies – identify, assess, quantify, and mitigate a wide array of financial risks. You will be instrumental in developing robust risk management frameworks, conducting quantitative analysis, performing model validations, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and contribute to the resilience and growth of the financial sector across the region. If you thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment, are eager to continuously learn, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service, we encourage you to apply.

As a Financial Risk Consultant at PwC Middle East, your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of activities. You will lead engagements focused on credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk, utilising advanced analytical techniques and cutting-edge methodologies. You will assist clients in understanding the implications of new regulatory standards such as Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, and the evolving ESG risk landscape. Your role will involve developing sophisticated risk models, validating existing ones, and advising on their implementation and governance. You will translate complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights for senior management and board-level stakeholders, presenting your recommendations with confidence and clarity. This position demands a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills, as you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external, to deliver integrated solutions. We offer unparalleled opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning through our extensive global network, and exposure to some of the most challenging and rewarding projects in the financial services industry. Join PwC and be part of a team that is dedicated to solving important problems and building trust in society.
