Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and highly motivated Finance Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Seoul. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards (e.g., K-IFRS).
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to provide financial guidance and support operational decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and optimize financial resources to ensure stability and growth.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting financial operations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and meticulous problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean (written and verbal) to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or an equivalent professional accounting certification (e.g., CMA, CFA).
- Experience with SAP or other major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Korean financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
