B&H Photo Video is seeking a highly skilled and creative Film Editor to join our in-house video production team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in editing high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, online advertising, and internal communications. This role requires a strong understanding of post-production workflows, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team. You’ll be responsible for assembling and editing video footage, ensuring visual consistency, and meeting tight deadlines. Your work will directly impact how B&H Photo Video connects with its audience and showcases our products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Edit video footage for various platforms, ensuring visual consistency and high-quality output.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to refine creative vision.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established workflows.
- Meet deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with various video formats and editing software.
- Provide feedback on footage and contribute to creative discussions.
- Participate in post-production processes, including color correction and audio mixing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques and post-production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with color correction and audio mixing.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects (a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a film editor.
- Experience working with e-commerce or retail brands (a plus).
- Familiarity with various video formats and codecs.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of editing styles and projects.
