Job Description
MTN Nigeria is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the position of Field Service Engineer. This is an entry-level position, perfect for those starting their careers in the telecommunications industry. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and development to equip you with the necessary skills. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment at various customer locations across Abuja. This role requires a high degree of technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with a supportive team and will have the opportunity to learn and grow professionally within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is based in Abuja, with regular travel to customer sites within the city and surrounding areas. This role is on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring telecommunications equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to telecommunications equipment
- Performing routine maintenance and preventative measures on telecommunications equipment
- Maintaining accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Providing excellent customer service to clients at their sites
- Collaborating with a team of engineers to resolve complex technical challenges
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development programs
Required Skills
