Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing information and recommendations.
- Accurately take customer orders and input them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently and accurately, providing correct change.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy cashier station and dining area throughout the shift.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and food packaging as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Stock and replenish front-of-house supplies, including condiments, napkins, and cutlery.
- Open and close cash registers, performing end-of-day reconciliation.
- Support overall restaurant operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Uphold company standards for product quality and customer service.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a fast-food/restaurant setting (at least 6 months).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Valid food handler's permit or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to speak local languages in addition to English and Kiswahili.
