Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in the entire design process, from concept ideation to final production.
- Contribute to research and development of fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles.
- Prepare mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for new collections.
- Aid in pattern making, cutting fabrics, and constructing samples under supervision.
- Support during fittings, taking notes, and assisting with alterations.
- Organize and maintain the design studio, including fabric inventory, trim organization, and general tidiness.
- Assist with sourcing materials, trims, and accessories from local and international suppliers.
- Prepare garments for photoshoots, presentations, and client viewings.
- Perform general administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the studio.
- Learn and apply best practices in garment construction, quality control, and sustainable fashion.
Required Skills
- Foundational knowledge of fashion design principles, garment construction, and textiles.
