Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops (vegetables, fruits, hay, etc.).
- Assist with the care and feeding of livestock (cattle, sheep, poultry) including mucking stalls, moving animals, and monitoring health.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, tillers, and ATVs.
- Participate in farm infrastructure maintenance, including fencing, building repairs, and groundskeeping.
- Assist with irrigation, weeding, pest control, and soil management.
- Help with processing and packaging farm products for sale.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and animal welfare standards.
- Work collaboratively with other farm staff to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of agricultural principles or a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and basic farm equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to farm tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting.
