Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming factory floors and designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and other common facilities to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean and maintain production machinery, equipment surfaces, and workstations, ensuring they are free from dust, grime, and debris, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.
- Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and correctly, following all instructions and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required, particularly during downtime or scheduled maintenance periods.
