Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat customers upon arrival, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, using a POS system, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen/bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation and quality meet standards.
- Anticipate customer needs and respond to inquiries or requests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, processing payments and providing correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and light cleaning.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, baristas, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of proven waitress experience in a busy restaurant or café environment.
