Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks (e.g., 2.5-ton, 5-ton, 11-ton vehicles) for the transportation of goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely, using appropriate equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations within Seoul and surrounding regions.
- Represent CJ Logistics professionally at all times.
- Manage delivery schedules and route planning for optimal efficiency.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including sorting and organizing goods, as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid Korean Class 1 Large Vehicle Driver's License (제1종 대형 운전면허)
- Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of professional truck driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong understanding of Korean traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to safely operate various truck sizes and types.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours of driving.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with refrigerated or specialized cargo transport.
- Knowledge of common routes and logistics hubs within Seoul and Gyeonggi-do.
- Experience using GPS and navigation software.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for electronic logging devices.
- Certification in hazardous materials transportation (if applicable).
