Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of various locations across Dubai and the UAE, including cultural sites, modern attractions, and natural landscapes.
- Provide accurate historical, cultural, and contemporary information in an entertaining and accessible manner.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all tour participants.
- Manage group dynamics effectively, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
- Adhere strictly to tour itineraries and schedules while remaining flexible to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and a positive demeanor.
- Assist with ticket collection, access arrangements, and other logistical requirements.
- Promote additional company services and excursions where appropriate.
- Stay updated on local events, new attractions, and relevant news to enhance tour content.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional Tour Guide, preferably in the UAE.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal); additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Mandarin, German, French, Spanish) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of Dubai and UAE history, culture, geography, and current events.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage groups of varying sizes and demographics.
- Valid UAE driving license for relevant tour types (e.g., desert safaris) if applicable.
- Proficiency in basic first aid is a plus.
