Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or waterproofing membranes to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Accurately measure and cut various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and granite, to precisely fit diverse spaces and intricate angles using both hand and power tools.
- Apply adhesive or mortar uniformly and strategically, setting tiles according to precise design specifications, patterns, and layout plans.
- Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and perfect leveling of all tiles to achieve a uniform, symmetrical, and highly professional finish.
- Execute grouting and sealing processes on all tiled surfaces, meticulously cleaning excess material and guaranteeing a neat, blemish-free appearance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished surfaces for any imperfections or deviations from standards, performing necessary adjustments or repairs promptly.
- Strategically select and procure appropriate tools, equipment, and materials required for each specific tiling project.
- Strictly adhere to all prevailing site safety regulations, company policies, and best practices to maintain a secure working environment.
- Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with other construction specialists, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine precise project specifications and material requirements.
