In this pivotal role, your primary responsibility will be to chauffeur clients to various destinations, including business meetings, personal appointments, and social events, ensuring timely and secure arrival. You will be expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times, understanding the importance of privacy for our clientele. Beyond driving, you will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of the assigned vehicle, including regular cleaning, routine maintenance checks, and ensuring all necessary documentation (insurance, registration) is current and valid.
Successful candidates will possess an impeccable driving record, advanced knowledge of local traffic laws and routes within Kayonza and the surrounding Eastern Province, and a commitment to safe driving practices. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely, and reliable transportation services to clients as scheduled.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality with client information.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in excellent operating condition at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic, road conditions, and client preferences.
- Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage or other belongings.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with clients and management.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Adapt promptly to changes in schedule or unforeseen circumstances.
Required Skills
- Valid Rwandan driving license (Class B or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience
- Impeccable driving record with no major violations
- Strong knowledge of Kayonza and Eastern Province road networks
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Good judgment and problem-solving abilities under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in defensive driving or advanced driving techniques
