Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, styling, colouring, and perming.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services and products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation and ensure all tools are sterilized.
- Stay updated with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous learning.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable and positive client experience.
- Manage client appointments efficiently and contribute to salon's sales targets through product recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and salon policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified hairdresser in a salon environment.
- Proficiency in all aspects of cutting, colouring (including advanced techniques), and styling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for the hair and beauty industry and a desire for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing or advanced diplomas.
