Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive practical driving lessons for individuals of varying skill levels.
- Instruct students on road safety principles, traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle operation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Prepare students for practical driving examinations, including mock tests and review sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and lesson plans.
- Ensure the training vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and safe for instruction.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and management regarding progress and scheduling.
- Stay updated with the latest traffic regulations and driving best practices in Osun State and Nigeria.
- Promote a positive and encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class B minimum)
- Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) certification or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving instruction experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven patience, empathy, and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Thorough knowledge of Nigerian traffic laws and Osun State road networks
- Strong observational skills and ability to assess student performance accurately
- High degree of punctuality and reliability
