Atlas Event Rental is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Event Setup Crew. As a vital part of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, delivery, setup, and breakdown of event rental equipment at various venues across South Florida. This physically demanding role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload event equipment from trucks safely and efficiently, using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
- Deliver rental items to event venues, adhering to strict timelines and company safety protocols.
- Accurately set up and dismantle a wide range of event equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, lighting, and décor, following detailed event diagrams and supervisor instructions.
- Ensure all equipment is properly placed, secured, and presented according to client specifications and Atlas Event Rental standards.
- Perform quality checks on equipment during setup and breakdown to identify any damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites and within the warehouse.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, event coordinators, and venue staff to ensure smooth event execution.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and venue personnel.
- Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse and event setting.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred, but not always required for all crew members).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event setup, general labor, warehouse operations, or a physically demanding role.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
- Familiarity with various event rental equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
