Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client consultations to understand specific needs, preferences, and objectives for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop innovative event concepts, detailed proposals, and comprehensive event designs that align with client visions and budgets.
- Create and manage detailed event budgets, timelines, and logistical plans, ensuring all deadlines and financial parameters are met.
- Source, vet, negotiate contracts with, and manage a diverse range of vendors including venues, caterers, decorators, photographers, audiovisual teams, and entertainers.
- Oversee all on-site event logistics, ensuring seamless setup, execution, and tear-down while proactively addressing any issues or last-minute changes.
- Maintain exceptional client communication, providing regular updates, progress reports, and professional guidance throughout the planning process.
- Facilitate vendor payments and handle all necessary post-event reconciliation, including final budget reports and client feedback sessions.
- Ensure all events comply with safety regulations, local ordinances, and industry best practices.
- Continuously research new trends, technologies, and vendor options within the event industry to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience in end-to-end event planning, with a strong portfolio showcasing both wedding and corporate events.
