As an Evening Shift Bar Attendant, you will be the face of The Highlander during some of our busiest and most energetic hours. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, utensils, and ingredients.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, process payments, and manage till reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere strictly to all liquor laws and regulations.
- Monitor customer behaviour to prevent over-serving and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and rotating products.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members (servers, kitchen staff) to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, securing stock, and preparing for the next shift.
Required Skills
