Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Impact Analyst to join our Sustainability Department in Oshogbo, Osun State. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and mitigating the environmental impact of our operations and investments. This role requires a deep understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability principles, and the ability to conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments. You will work closely with various teams across the organization, providing expert advice and guidance on environmental matters. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective environmental management strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The role involves extensive data analysis, report writing, and presentation of findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be a key contributor to our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and environmental due diligence reviews
  • Developing and implementing environmental management plans and strategies
  • Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance indicators
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on environmental initiatives
  • Preparing reports and presentations on environmental matters
  • Analyzing data and identifying trends related to environmental performance
  • Developing and delivering environmental training programs
  • Participating in relevant industry conferences and forums

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards
  • Experience in conducting EIAs and environmental due diligence
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Auditor)
  • Experience working in the financial sector
  • Knowledge of GIS software
