Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in Billings, Montana. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting environmental assessments, developing remediation plans, and managing environmental compliance for our diverse client base. This position requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, a proven track record of project management, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to the highest environmental standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Developing and implementing environmental remediation plans
- Managing environmental compliance programs for clients
- Preparing environmental reports and presentations
- Interacting with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Participating in business development activities
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA)
- Experience with environmental site assessments and remediation
- Proficiency in environmental software and data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Auditor, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)
- Experience with GIS software
- Experience with brownfield redevelopment projects
