Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing resources and materials as needed.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to understand concepts, complete tasks, and reinforce learning.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment, adhering to all school policies and procedures.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional assistance, under the guidance of the teacher.
- Observe and report on student progress, behaviour, and development to the class teacher, contributing to assessment and planning.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem, confidence, and independence.
- Assist with classroom management, encouraging good behaviour and a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support during breaks, lunchtimes, and extracurricular activities as required.
