Job Description
Dangote Industries Limited is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic graduates for our Entry-Level Process Engineer Trainee program in Abuja. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates with a strong academic background in chemical engineering or related disciplines to launch their career in a dynamic and challenging industrial setting. This paid internship program is designed to provide comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship, exposing trainees to all aspects of process engineering within our cement production facilities. This is a full-time, on-site internship based at our Abuja plant. Trainees will receive hands-on experience, working alongside experienced engineers and technicians. The program will equip you with practical skills and theoretical knowledge to ensure a successful transition into a full-time process engineering role upon successful completion of the program. No prior experience is needed; we are looking for bright, eager learners with a strong work ethic and a passion for the process industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting senior process engineers in various tasks related to process optimization and improvement.
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify areas for process enhancement.
- Participating in plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Developing and presenting reports on project progress and findings.
- Contributing to process safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
- Utilizing process simulation software and other engineering tools.
- Learning and implementing best practices in process engineering.
- Engaging in continuous professional development through training and mentorship.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
