Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Support senior accountants with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and post journal entries as required.
- Assist in auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management when requested.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and queries.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong foundational understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
