Job Description
Green Energy Solutions Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Efficiency Consultant to join our growing team in Badagry, Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of energy efficiency principles, proven experience in conducting energy audits and developing energy efficiency improvement plans, and excellent communication and client management skills. This role will involve working directly with clients to identify energy saving opportunities, develop and implement cost-effective solutions, and monitor energy performance. The successful candidate will be a key player in helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals while contributing to a greener future. This position requires a strong understanding of building systems, energy codes, and sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting energy audits for commercial and industrial clients.
- Developing energy efficiency improvement plans and implementing energy conservation measures.
- Analyzing energy consumption data and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preparing reports and presentations for clients.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest energy efficiency technologies and best practices.
- Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement innovative energy efficiency solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and practices.
- Experience in conducting energy audits and developing energy efficiency improvement plans.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- Professional certification in energy efficiency (e.g., CEM, LEED AP).
- 3+ years of experience in energy efficiency consulting.
- Experience with renewable energy technologies.
