Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety barriers, ensuring proper ventilation, and performing general clean-up.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines strictly, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform minor electrical tasks under direct supervision, such as stripping wires, connecting basic components, and drilling holes.
- Help identify and troubleshoot electrical issues by observing and reporting findings to lead electricians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools are properly stored and materials are accounted for.
- Learn and apply basic electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and challenges.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness to learn the electrical trade and construction practices.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
