Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, answer questions about menu items, and make informed recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, relaying them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to presentation standards and ensuring correct delivery.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to ensure maximum satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and resetting.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and healthy dining environment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including restocking, cleaning, and preparing for the next shift.
