Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items according to ZFV-Unternehmungen standards and recipes.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic manner, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, maintaining a balanced till at all times.
- Set up and dismantle the food stand/kiosk, ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and presentable.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the food preparation and serving areas, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and report any shortages or equipment issues promptly.
- Ensure all food items are stored, prepared, and served at appropriate temperatures.
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety guidelines, and local regulations.
- Work independently and efficiently in a dynamic outdoor environment, adapting to varying customer flows and weather conditions.
- Collaborate with team members and management to optimize operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience in food service, retail, or a customer-facing role.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Strong communication skills in German (B2 level or higher).
- Basic food preparation and handling knowledge.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a food truck, kiosk, or market stall.
- Food hygiene certification (e.g., HACCP knowledge).
- Additional language skills (e.g., English, French, Italian).
- Valid Swiss driving license (Category B) for potential transport of goods.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
